Street Photography strives to capture fleeting moments in a town or city. As an exercise in exploring the places we visit, Street Photography gives us a mission to capture what makes each place unique and vibrant with life.
URBN.photos is a project by Russell to capture more of the places he visits, enrich his life through travel, and have a reason to explore new places. This is an on-going project that started in 2020.
The photos posted here are all captured while exploring places. Sometimes it’s exploring as part of every day life, sometimes it’s dedicated photo walks specifically for finding and capturing moments. The best camera is the camera you have with you, so the pictures here are captured with what was available when the moment needed to be captured.
Russell is a polymath artist living and working in Seattle, WA. His love of photography started in 1999 on a trip to London. Through the years, he has grown to explore different styles of photography from still life, to high-end fashion portraiture.
When not capturing photos, one can find him dangling from the ceiling, or jumping over things.
